With nearly one and a half decades' experience of working in the business of words, I started my publishing career in 2005 as Editorial Assistant on a journal for the emergency services, later taking on Assistant Editor and Books Editor roles over the following nine years while working in-house. In 2014, I went freelance and became a Professional Member of the SfEP and an Advanced Professional Member in 2017.
Working from home in London, I offer editorial services to publishing, media and business clients (mostly on academic and medical texts), ably assisted by three feline helpers.
I specialise in several non-fiction areas: academic and STM. publications, trade press and corporate communications. Please see my Portfolio for the lowdown on what I've been busy with in recent months...
My recent clients include: Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Hodder Education, Whitefox, Quintessence Publishing, Velvet Apple Media, Open City, Tomorrow's Company, Runwild Media, Cats Protection, Oxford Language Editing, Copernicus Publications, KVM books
